Venetian Plaster
Polished, high-end decorative interior finishes.
Venetian plaster is lime plaster applied in thin, overlapping trowel strokes and burnished to a smooth, marble-like sheen. Done right, walls seem to glow from inside the material. It is the most craft-intensive finish we offer and the one people touch without meaning to.
We install Venetian plaster on interior feature walls, fireplaces, bathrooms, and full rooms. Prep is half the job: walls are skimmed dead flat because the polished finish shows everything beneath it.
Finishes range from soft matte to high-gloss polish, in natural lime tones or tinted colors, and sealed for durability. Kitchens and baths get additional protection so the finish stands up to daily life.

Surface prep
Walls skimmed dead flat. Venetian shows every flaw beneath it, so prep is half the job.
Base venetian coats
Thin layers of lime plaster troweled in overlapping strokes build the depth you see in the finish.
Burnish & polish
Tight trowel passes compress the surface into that glass-smooth, marble-like sheen.
Seal & protect
A protective seal locks in the finish, kitchens and baths get extra protection.

Where can Venetian plaster be used?
Any interior wall or ceiling: living rooms, bedrooms, powder rooms, fireplaces. With the right sealer it performs beautifully in bathrooms and kitchens too.
How do I maintain it?
Sealed Venetian plaster wipes clean with a soft damp cloth. No special maintenance, no repainting, and small marks can usually be burnished out.
Why does Venetian plaster cost more than paint?
Because it is applied in multiple hand-troweled layers and polished by hand. You are buying depth and a finish that paint physically cannot reproduce, and it lasts decades.
