Learn a trade that builds things that last

Duarte’s Plastering trains its own crew, paid, hands-on, on real Orange County and Los Angeles jobs, under a craftsman who still checks every wall. No experience required to start. Work ethic is.

The curriculum

How you grow at Duarte’s

01

Site & Prep

Protection, containment, mixing, scaffold safety. The habits that make every job clean, learned first, kept forever.

02

Base Coats

Lath, scratch, and brown coats. Flat, true walls are built here, you master the structure before the beauty.

03

Finish Work

Traditional and acrylic finish coats, Venetian plaster. Texture matching, color, and the trowel skills people photograph.

04

Specialty Systems

Acrylic stucco, foam trim, Venetian plaster. The high-end work that sets Duarte’s apart, and raises your value.

05

Running Work

Leading a crew, reading plans, talking to clients, quality control. The path from apprentice to the one they trust with the Marriott.
